The Double X Factor
A Space Dedicated To
Exploring Women’s Health
There is nothing more personal and intimate than our health and well-being.
Welcome to The Double X Factor! Over here, we are obsessed with everything that makes us women: hormones, periods, pregnancy, all of it. Our bodies are incredibly fascinating but too often misunderstood. This can lead to quite a frustrating relationship with our bodies – we can be doing everything we are *supposed* to, yet our bodies don’t seem to respond or improve in the way we expect them to.
Well, we think this can be greatly improved if we understand our bodies better. Our bodies are complex and unique, which means we need to learn, a lot. That’s where The Double X Factor comes in. Every week, we will bring you science-backed information that you can integrate into your life to better care for your body.

Behind the Double x factor
A Little About Me….
Hi, I’m Nour — and like many of you, my health journey hasn’t been a straight line.
When I was 20, my dad had his first heart attack. He was only 44. A year later, he had another. Seeing someone I loved so much go through that made me realize how important it was to start taking care of myself early. So, I dove headfirst into making healthier choices, determined to protect my own future.
But despite my best efforts, I was diagnosed with PCOS two years later. That moment hit me hard—it made me realize how complicated our health really is. You can be doing all the “right” things and still face challenges. My symptoms were tough to manage, and finding reliable, practical information felt like a full-time job. Most resources were either too technical, too sales-y, or just didn’t fit into my real life.
At the same time, I was finishing my Bachelor’s in International Relations with a Minor in Psychology, learning all about the mind-body connection. I became obsessed (in the best way!) with understanding how everything is connected—and how I could take better care of myself. That obsession turned into a passion for women’s health because I realized I wasn’t alone. So many of us are struggling to piece together science-backed, practical advice while juggling work, family, and everything else.
A Space For Every Woman
That’s why I created The Double X Factor. It’s a space for women to find clear, relatable, research-backed health information. My goal is to help you cut through the noise so you can take charge of your health—without feeling overwhelmed or pressured to buy every new gadget or supplement.
Women are often the caretakers for everyone else, but we can’t pour from an empty cup. I’m here to make sure you have the tools and knowledge you need to feel your best—because when you thrive, everyone around you benefits, too. Let’s navigate this journey together!
